| How to Apply
May be applied to wet or dry foliage. For best overall
greening, apply to moist foliage and avoid washing
particles off leaves (or mowing) for 24 hours. When
iron chlorosis is evident, watering will hasten
activity.
For bluegrass and ryegrass: Water after application
when temperatures are expected to exceed 85°F.
For dichondra lawns: Apply only to dry foliage and
water immediately to wash all fertilizer off foliage.
Apply to a wet or dry lawn on a calm day. For best
results, use a Scotts spreader. Be certain to set
spreader to the indicated label setting before
applying. Grass should not touch the bottom of a drop
spreader, tall grass should be mowed a day or two
before application.
When to Apply
Apply when lawn needs feeding, every 2 months, from
the time grass starts greening in the spring until it
stops growing in fall. Apply any season when grass is
green and growing to any grass type. For best results,
apply as part of a Scotts Annual Lawn Care Program.
