Equimax Paste

Equimax® is an all-in-one, combination wormer containing two different active ingredients. The combination of ivermectin and praziquantel is capable of treating multiple-specie infestations. This means Equimax® has the best combined efficacy and the broadest spectrum of activity of any wormer.

Equimax® is registered for use in all horses that have mixed infestations of roundworms, tapeworms and bots, and is the only product registered to treat all 3 species of equine tapeworm (more information : see Package Insert).

Safety Studies have proven Equimax® is safe to use on all types of horses. Equimax® has been proven safe in stallions at 5x the recommended dose rate and, in pregnant mares at 3x the recommended dose. It is equally safe on foals at more than 5x the normal level, and can be safely administered to foals from 2 weeks of age.

Equimax® is a fluid, oral gel formulated for rapid administration and a reduced risk of wastage. It has been flavoured with green apple to make it especially appealing to your horse. Equimax® is presented in a specially designed Syringe that is more accurate and easier to use.
