How to Apply

Apply only when grass is dry. Watering after application will help to activate the product. When daytime highs are 80°F or above, rinse particles off grass blades after applying.

If you are seeding/sodding/sprigging: Apply Bonus S after sprigging/sodding a new St. Augutine or zoysia lawn to prevent competition from germinating weeds. Water the new sprigs/sod, allow the grass blades to dry, then make the application of Bonus S. Do not apply to newly seeded centipede and carpetgrass lawns until after the new grass has been mowed at least twice. Do not plant sprigs/sod for one month or sow new grass seed for six months following application of Bonus S.

For best results, use a Scotts spreader set to the indicated label setting. Apply only when grass is dry. Water in after application (immediately following application when temperatures are 80°F or above).
